Essilor: a Strong Company Purpose

Chairman and CEO, Essilor International Hubert Sagnières discusses his company’s CSR initiatives in China, and the role that China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) has to play in educating leaders of tomorrow.

He was speaking during an interview on CEIBS Shanghai Campus, weeks after the EU and US gave approval for Essilor to merge with Italian brand Luxottica in a deal estimated at 50 billion euro. The merger is expected to help Essilor meet its goal of eradicating poor vision in one generation.
